My son Brian will eat these for a week. He absolutely loves them. Whatever beans you have throw them in. I put different beans in each time depending on what is in the cupboard. Great for a potluck, camping, or picnic.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

These hearty baked beans are full of meat and a variety of beans (which makes them a little different than other recipes). This makes a huge amount and is meant to serve a crowd, but can easily be scaled back. We loved the texture and flavor of the different beans (we opted for Great Northern/white beans). Tangy and sweet, there is just a hint of savoriness and spice. A wonderful side dish for summer cookouts.
