Ingredients For black bean salsa

1 can(15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

1/4 cfresh cilantro, chopped

1 lgripe tomato, seeded and chopped

1jalapeno pepper, pickled or fresh, finely chopped

1/3 cred onion, chopped
-
juice from one fresh lime
-
salt to taste

freshly ground pepper to taste
- OPTIONAL - ADD ALL OR YOUR CHOICE OF THE FOLLOWING:

1/2avocado, chopped

1 mdmango, chopped
-
1/2 ccorn kernels, fresh, canned or thawed frozen

1/2 cred bell pepper, diced
How To Make black bean salsa

1Combine black beans, cilantro, tomato, jalapeno, red onion and lime juice. Taste and add salt and pepper, as needed.

2If desired, add all or your choice of avocado, mango, corn kernels or red bell pepper. Garnish with a sprig of fresh cilantro and a lime wedge.
