Ingredients For chicken sausage with homemade macaroni and cheese

1 pkg(16 ounces) chicken sausage

1 tspcanola oil

3 ozsourdough bread, pulsed in a food processor until crumbly

1 tspbutter, melted

1 pkg(12 ounces) elbow macaroni, cooked according to package directions

2 cextra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cegg substitute
-
1 can(12 ounces) evaporated milk
How To Make chicken sausage with homemade macaroni and cheese

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F Saute chicken sausage in oil over medium heat until browned and internal temp reaches 165 degrees F. Remove, slice into 1/4- pieces and set aside.

2Pulse bread in a food processor until crumbly. Place crumbs in a bowl, add melted butter and mix well. Place butter crumb mixture on a cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes or until golden.

3Return macaroni to the pan and place over medium-low heat stirring in cheese, egg substitute and milk. Cook for 4 minutes or until cheese melts, stirring constantly.

4Stir in sausage pieces last and spoon into serving bowls. Serve with toasted breadcrumbs on top.
