1.5 lblean ground beef

2 slicebacon

1/8 tspallspice

1/4 tspnutmeg

1 tspprepared mustard

2 Tbspchopped onion

1/2 cgreen bell pepper, chopped

1/2 cquick cooking oats

1 cbananas, ripe, mashed, 2 large

1 lgegg

3 Tbsporange marmalade
How To Make meat loaf tropical

1Heat the oven to 350 degrees.

2Mix all of the ingredients, except the bacon and marmalade, together.

3Spread the mixture in an ungreased loaf pan, 9 X 5 X 3-inches.

4Crisscross the bacon slices on the top of the meat mixture and spread the marmalade over the whole thing.

5Bake, uncovered for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.

6Drain off the excess fat and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
