Ingredients For mulled spiced wine

1 bottleburgundy or claret

1/2 csugar

1 1/2 cboiling water

1/2thinly sliced lemon

3cinnamon sticks

3whole cloves
How To Make mulled spiced wine

1In a large saucepan, dissolve the sugar in the boiling water, stirring well.

2Add the wine, cinnamon sticks and cloves.

3Pour into slow cooker with the heat on low. Stir well.

4Heat for at least an hour. Do not allow mixture to boil.

5Serve in mugs.
