Ingredients For aunt cynthia's noodle kugel

  • one package white noodles, 1 pound
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • six eggs, beaten
  • 1 pint sour cream or substitute low-fat sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • three green apples, peeled and sliced thin
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • nonstick spray

How To Make aunt cynthia's noodle kugel

  • 1
    preheat oven to 325°. Bring a large pot of cold water to a boil, season with 2 tablespoon salt and cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and return to warm pot with butter. Add remaining ingredients and mix.

    Spray a baking dish with nonstick spray and spread noodle mixture into pan evenly. Place pan into a larger pan filled with 1/2 inch of water, to create a water bath. Cook for 45 minutes.
