Ingredients For apple tarts

  • 1 can
    apple pie filling
  • 2 pkg
refrigerated crescent rolls (need 2 rolls per pie)

How To Make apple tarts

  • 1
preheat oven to temperature listed on package of rolls. Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil. (This really helps cut down on clean up!)Open the can of apple filling, and the rolls. Take one roll and unroll it to form a triangle. Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center. Unroll a second roll and carefully lay it on top of the first. Take a fork and dip it in water; then press it all around the triangle. Poke holes in the "pie" so that steam can escape during cooking. Sprinkle the pie with a little sugar, and bake according to package directions (rolls). Let cool and enjoy! My students love this special treat; especially since they make it themselves. (My class consists of 3-5 year old special needs students)
