I love slow cooker it does work for you. I like use sugar-free cake mix and sugar for Diabetic and low carbs.

Ingredients For fruit slow-cooker crisp

  • 3 c
    strawberries
  • 3 c
    sliced rhubarb or another fruit
  • 1/2 c
    sugar or splenda sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated orange peel or orange extract
  • 1 c
    yellow cake mix or sugar-free yellow cake mix
  • 1 c
    old fashion oats
  • 1/2 c
    cold butter or light margarine
  • *** whipped cream or lite cool whip

How To Make fruit slow-cooker crisp

  • 1
    In medium to large Slow Cooker, toss strawberries, rhubarb or another fruit, sugar or Splenda sugar and orange peel or orange extract.

    In medium bow, stir in cake mix, oats and cinnamon. Cut in the butter or light margarine with pastry blender or two knives until mix look like a size of small peas. Dump mixture on top of strawberry-rhubarb or another fruit mixture.

    Cover cook on High heat 2 1/2 to 3 hours or fruits bubbling and crisp topping lightly golden brown. Serve immediately with Whipped cream or Cool Whip
