If you like chocolate covered cherries you will love this cake.It is so simple to make.A few ingredients is all it takes.

Ingredients For chocolate covered cherry cake

  • 1 pkg
    cake mix, devils food
  • 1 can
    cherry pie filling
  • 1 tsp
    almond extract
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1/3 c
    milk
  • 5 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate covered cherry cake

    Preheat oven to 350.Mix cake mix,pie filling, extract,and eggs by hand until mixed well. Spread into a greased 9x13 pan.Bake 25-35 minutes.When cake is done start topping.

    Place milk,butter,and sugar into saucepan. Bring to boil. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add chocolate chips. Spread on warm cake.
