8.5 ozchocolate wafer cookies

1/2 csugar

6eggs

1 cwhipping cream

2 Tbspvanilla extract

12 ozcream cheese, softened

9 ozsemi-sweet chocolate

3 ozchocolate, unsweetened

1 Tbspbutter
- FILLING INGREDIENTS

2 Tbspbutter, unsalted and melted

How To Make chocolate cheesecake with chocolate wafer crust

1To make crust, crush wafers; add melted butter to make crumbly dough.

2Press into bottom of 9-inch springform pan; set aside.

3To make filling, melt butter in top of double boiler over hot water; add chocolates and heat until melted, stirring until smooth.

4Beat cheese until creamy; add vanilla and whipping cream.

5Stir in chocolate mixture; beat eggs with sugar and slowly beat into chocolate mixture.

6Turn into crust and bake at 350 40 to 45 minutes, or until cake puffs slightly in center; cool, then chill thoroughly before unmolding - Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
