This is the best banana nut recipe I've ever found. It came out of the "My Great Recipes" monthly recipe collection in the 80's.

Ingredients For banana nut bread

3very ripe bananas
-
2eggs
-
1/2 cbutter or margarine
-
1-1/2 Tbspbuttermilk or sour cream
-
1 tspfresh lemon juice
-
1 csugar
-
2 call purpose flour
-
1-1/2 tspbaking powder
-
1/2 tspbaking soda
-
1 cchopped walnuts or pecans
How To Make banana nut bread

1Place bananas, eggs, butter, buttermilk OR sour cream, lemon juice, and sugar into a blender or food processor. Whirl until smooth.

2Mix together flour, baking powder, and baking soda.

3Pour banana mixture over flour mixture and stir just until flour is moistened. Stir in the nuts.

4Turn into greased 9-1/2"x4-1/2" brad loaf pan, OR into two 3-1/2"x7-1/2" nut bread pans.

5Bake at 350 degrees for 55-65 minutes or until bread tests done when a skewer is inserted in the center.

6Allow to cool 5 minutes in pan, then turn out onto wire rack.
