I am hopelessly hooked on this recipe. When I first made it I figured it would be a second to the party mix I have made for eons.........was I ever surprised, this is my number one, favorite party mix. Do I need a party to make it ? No way, I make it just for me a lot. I usually double the recipe for a party.

Ingredients For mexican party mix

4 Tbspbutter

2 tspchili powder
-
1/4 tspgarlic salt

1/4 tsponion salt

7 ccrispex cereal
-
2 cchili cheese frito's

1/4 cshredded parmesan cheese

3/4 cpeanuts
How To Make mexican party mix

1Pre-heat oven to 250* Melt butter with chili powder, garlic salt and onion salt.

2Mix Crispex, Frito's, Parmesan cheese and nuts in a bowl. Pour butter mixture over the ingredients in the bowl. Mix to coat. Pour into a baking pan.

3Bake at 250* for 15 minutes, stir, bake another 15 minutes, stir, bake a final 15 minutes.

4Cooks note: I use garlic powder and onion powder so I add salt. I also prefer Cashew Nuts over peanuts. Yield: 10 cups
