Contest Winner Jan Mullikin
Tue, Mar 9, 2010
We've boiled, we've simmered, we've done a LOT of tasting... and now the Kitchen Crew and I are proud to announce the winner of the Just A Pinch Savory Soup Spectacular Contest!
Drum roll, please....
Congratulations to JAN MULLIKIN of Union, KY! Her creative Cream of Roasted Red Pepper & Chicken Soup was tops in our book. Its creamy texture and lovely presentation won over our hearts and our stomachs! Jan and her guest will be flown to Nashville for a cook's dream weekend where she will enjoy a fantastic kitchen shopping spree and get to prepare her winning recipe with me... for a room full of hungry Just A Pinch members! (Stay tuned for details on how you can join Jan and me for the afternoon of comfort food!)
The Kitchen Crew and I were bowled over - pardon the pun - by all of the terrific recipes submitted to the Savory Soup Spectacular Contest. You guys and gals made it tough to choose a single Grand Prize winner! A big ol' Just A Pinch salute goes out to our two Runners-Up:
Susan Ward of Nashville, TN - French Potato Soup
Dana Kruckenberg of Riverside, CA - French Market Soup
These ladies really know how to serve up some winter relief! Grab your ladles and give these recipes a try. They are guaranteed to warm you through-and-through.
And the winning doesn't end here! Want to wing your way to Nashville like Jan? The Just A Pinch Springtime Cake Contest is underway! Show off your sweet side and enter your favorite cake recipes for a chance at the Grand Prize!! Find out more...
