YUMMY and so quick and easy! The family devoured these for a Sunday morning treat, but there are plenty more for left-overs - another bonus! They're easy to refrigerate, and re-heat in the microwave for a weekday breakfast to go. I used Jimmy Dean's sage sausage, drained all the fat off after cooking, and patted with paper towels to remove any remaining fat. I also used a 12 oz package of pre-shredded cheddar cheese, which was plenty, and I just needed 1 cup of milk. I baked them at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, and they were nicely browned, but soft and tender. We'll definitely make them again.

This is similar to the Red Lobster biscuit recipe sans sausage. I used the new Jimmy Dean pre cooked sausage crumbles. To compensate for no grease, I added 2 tblsps melted butter. Baked at 375. I brushed on melted butter mixed with garlic powder and parsley (like the red lobster recipe) also opted for garlic powder in the mix in lieu of fresh garlic. YUMMY!

I am very busy mom of three. My three are all spread out in ages. 14, 11 and 5. So I am constantly running kids from one activity or sporting event to another. I don't have a ton of time to spend in the kitchen but, when I find a recipe that is a hit with my 5 year old (the pickest of the three) then I will post it here. All of my recipes are for the most part quick and easy. Some are freezable and so I make alot and take it out and microwave as needed.
I am also a gymnastics coach. Gymnastics has always been my real passion. My middle daughter and I get to share this passion. She is a two time national champion at age 10. So we spend hours upon hours in the gym training as an elite gymnasts do. My oldest plays football, basketball, baseball, wrestles and runs track. He does every sport that he can. The youngest does gymnastics too but, also likes soccer. Well this gives you an idea of just how busy. LOL!
