The icing is sorta like fudge, which means the humidity plays a big part sometimes. Plus I don't use a themometer either so I do the drop in water method, which is tricky, too. Please rate the cake for me if you don't mind. Have a blessed Christmas.
Hi Bea, Merry Christmas to you... my frosting could have been a tad harder but it tasted really good and hardened almost perfectly. The lady I baked the cake for was thrilled. So thats all that counts. Right? Thank you much.
OMG, Diane, it looks just beautiful! It looks just like mine. You did an excellert job. I'm so glad you like it and it turned out for you. How was the icing? I have made it and it come out sticky but 99.9 per cent of the time it's perfect.
