This came out absolutely amazing. Decadent & luxurious. Beautiful & rich in color. It's definitely a new holiday favorite. The tsp of almond extract really brought this to life. I cut these into squares, arranged on a platter, dusted with powdered sugar and garnished with fresh cranberries. This is the ultimate Christmas cake. So simple. A huge hit!
