Linda Hall--these look like they could easily be made by just laying down a layer of croissants or phyllo in a lightly oiled pan, spreading the fillings, and putting another croissant layer or phyllo sheet over the top. Then after baking, you'd just let it cool a fair bit and cut it in squares.

I've not seen crescent rolls here in the UK, so I'm thinking maybe you could use Just Roll flaky or Filo pastry sheets rolled out & cut in to shape, they sound like a modernised version of sausage rolls or vol eau vents that we get over here in UK at a party

The ingredients look simple. But, it seems like it would take a long time cutting the crescents. And then rolling them all up. They do look delicious though. I’m gonna try them, though I’ll do the whole crescent. And Rebecca’s idea sounds great too for a little spice.
