  • 4 Pork chops
  • 2 Tbs. Vegetable oil
  • 3 C. Bread cubes (1/2 inch)
  • 1/4 C. Butter or margarine (melted)
  • 1/4 C. Chicken broth
  • 2 Tbs. celery, chopped
  • 2 Tbs. onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. Poultry seasoning
  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
  • 1/3 C. water

    In a skillet, brown the pork chops in oil. Place chops in an ungreased baking dish. In a bowl, toss bread cubes, butter, broth, celery, onion, and poultry seasoning. Mound about 1/2 cup stuffing mixture on each pork chop. In a separate bowl, combine soup and water, pour over chops. Cover and bake at 350F for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 10-15 minutes longer or until juices run clear and a meat thermometer reads 160 / 170F.
