1 cup unsalted butter
¼ teaspoon salt
4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2-3 tablespoons heavy cream (half and half or milk)
½ cup strawberry jam (or preserves)
½ cup fresh strawberries (cut in half)
