For the sandwiches
2 pounds New York strip or boneless rib-eye steak
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
2 tablespoons ketchup
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon pepper
12 slider buns, toasted
2 cups greens, washed and dried
Thinly sliced red onion
For the herb Gorgonzola butter
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 to 1/3 cup loosely packed fresh herbs, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
