Ingredients For smokey joe potato soup

    potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 3 stalk
    celery, chopped
  • 2 md
    carrots, sliced
  • 8 c
    water
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    dried marjoram
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 pkg
    li'l smokies

How To Make smokey joe potato soup

    In a large stockpot, combine potatoes, onion, celery and carrots. Add water, salt, pepper and marjoram. Bring to a boil on high heat, uncovered.

    Add butter, half and half and milk, stir and cover. Turn heat to medium low and cook 25 minutes.

    Slice sausages into 1 inch pieces and add to soup, cover and continue to cook an additional 20-25 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
