German Potato Soup

Ingredients

1 lbsmoked sausage, halved legthwise and cut into 1/2-inch slices (i used andouille sausage)

4 cboiling potatoes, cut up (i used fingerlings)

1/2 csweet peppers, chopped
-
3/4 cred onion, chopped
-
2large celery stalks, chopped
-
2 csauerkraut, rinsed and drained
-
2 Tbspstone ground mustard
-
314-ounce cans chicken broth
-
2large bay leaves
-
·pepper to taste
How to Make German Potato Soup
- In a 4-to 5-quart slow cooker combine sausage, vegetables, and seasonings. Pour broth over all.
- Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 7-9 hours or high-heat setting 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 hours, or until potatoes desired tenderness.
