Ingredients

  • 1/4 c
    onions, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    parsley
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 1/2 c
    mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    cornstarch
  • 1 tsp
    beef bouillon
  • 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 tsp
    dry mustard
  • pinch
    pepper
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream

How to Make Creamy Mushroom Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Saute onions in butter, do not brown.
  2. Stir in sliced mushrooms, cook until tender.
  3. Add cornstarch, beef bouillon, worcestershire sauce, dry mustard and pepper.
  4. Add sour cream.
  5. Run through blender until smooth or use an immersion blender.
  6. Top with chopped parsley.
