This was a staple during the "Great Depression". I can still remember my Grandmother making this recipe and serving it as "the meal" for the day.

Ingredients For corn soup (basic)

2 cfresh or canned corn

1 qtmilk

2 tspall purpose flour

1 dashpepper

1 smonion, diced (optional)
How To Make corn soup (basic)

1Mix flour with small amount of milk. Combine with remaining ingredients

2Bring to gentle boil, cook 10 minutes over medium heat. Serve in large bowls adding a dab of butter to each.
