    onion, chopped
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can(s)
    pinto beans, undrained
  • 1 can(s)
    fire raosted tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 slice
    can tomato paste
  • 1 can(s)
    whole kerrnal white corn, undrained
  • 1 can(s)
    kidney beans, undrained
  • 1 can(s)
    white hominy, undrained
  • ·
    cilantro leaves for garnish
  • ·
    crushed corn chips for garnish
  • ·
    shredded cheddar cheese for garnish
  • ·
    sour cream or mexican crema for garnish
  • ·
    ripe avocado, chopped for garinish

How to Make Taco Soup


  1. Sauté meat and onion in a large Dutch oven, until meat is lightly browned.
  2. Add the other ingredients. Heat thoroughly; simmer about 15 to 20 minutes..
  3. Serve with crushed corn chips; top with grated cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream or Mexican crema and cilantro leaves for garnish
