ground beef or ground buffalo
1 large
onion, chopped
1 pkg
taco seasoning mix
1 can(s)
pinto beans, undrained
1 can(s)
fire raosted tomatoes, undrained
1 slice
can tomato paste
1 can(s)
whole kerrnal white corn, undrained
1 can(s)
kidney beans, undrained
1 can(s)
white hominy, undrained
cilantro leaves for garnish
crushed corn chips for garnish
shredded cheddar cheese for garnish
sour cream or mexican crema for garnish
ripe avocado, chopped for garinish


1Sauté meat and onion in a large Dutch oven, until meat is lightly browned.
2Add the other ingredients. Heat thoroughly; simmer about 15 to 20 minutes..
3Serve with crushed corn chips; top with grated cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream or Mexican crema and cilantro leaves for garnish
