This is a great meal to put together around lunch time and let simmer until dinner. WW points value 8 per serving.

Ingredients For mom's hamburger goulash

  • 6-8 c
    water
  • 2 tsp
    beef broth crystals (i like better than bouillon)
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 2/3 c
    onion chopped
  • 2 c
    celery finely chopped
  • 1 lb
    carrots, bite size chunks
  • 2 c
    shredded cabbage
  • 6 md
    potatoes bite size chunks
  • 1/3 c
    pearl barley
  • 1 sm
    parsnip bite size chunks
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 3 Tbsp
    worshtershire
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 8 oz
    tomato paste
  • 2 lb
    hamburger, cooked

How To Make mom's hamburger goulash

    Put everything in a big pot.

    Heat until boiling then reduce heat to simmer and cook for at least 30 minutes before serving.
