Ingredients For grammy barb's potato ham soup

    4 large russet potato's sliced in chunks
  • c
    2 cups beef broth low sodium
  • md
    2 medium onions chopped
  • stick
    2 stalks of celery
  • lg
    3 carrots chopped
  • c
    1/2 cup parsley
  • Tbsp
    3 tablespoons butter
  • c
    3 cups milk
  • tsp
    1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • Tbsp
    3 tbs. flour
  • c
    1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • c
    1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
  • c
    2 cups cubed ham / plus ham bone
  • Tbsp
    1 tbs. chopped garlic from jar
  • pkg
    1/2 package of smoked bacon, drained and crumbled

How To Make grammy barb's potato ham soup

    In a Large pan, place Ham bone, and potato's in broth.

    Add onions, carrots, celery, parsley, garlic, chucks of Ham, and cooked smoked bacon.

    Cook for 30 min.

    When almost done, in a fry pan. Melt Butter, add flour, and milk gradually and stir until thickened Then add cheeses and stir again.

    Add this to Broth, and stir until blended. Add Red pepper flakes and Black pepper.
