Lack of better name for it and What more would you want in it. This recipe was originally from The Dredge Boat Stew recipe (Maryland) Changed to add thicker more like chowder. it was originally thickened with mashing of the potatoes. The dredge boats were of very hearty recipes they needed the food to be filling and stick with the men on dredge boats. This recipe can be used with any kind of seafood or just one kind as it was just Oysters.
