  • 1 package any skinless smoked sausage,cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 medium green peppers,chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2-14.5 ounces cans fired roasted diced tomatoes,undrained
  • 1 cup chunky salsa
  • 2-16 ounces cans pinto beans or red beans, rinsed and drained
  • GARNISHES: SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE, SOUR CREAM, CHOPPED CILANTRO,

How To Make chunky sausage chili - eckrich

  • Step 1
    Cook bell peppers in a larege saucepan coated with cooking spray 2 mins. Stir in chili powder and cook 1 min. Add tomatoes and salsa;simmer 8 mins. Stir sausage into chili along with beans. Simmer 6-8 mins. or until chili is slightly thickened.Ladle into shallow bowls. garnish as desired.
