From HELEN'S PANTRY. Dad made this a lot It was fast easy and it was quite good. When I make this soup I sometimes add a few drops of hot sauce just for a little tang. MARCH RECIPE.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 lb
    ground sausage
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 clove
    `garlic menced
  • 2- 14 oz
    cans peeled and diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1/2 lb
    uncooked spaghetti
  • 8 c
    water

How to Make VIRGIL'S SPAGHETTI SOUP

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large pot over medium heat add the ground beef and the ground sausage saute for 5 to 10 minutes or until browned. Add the onion and garlic and saute for 2 minutes more.
  2. Then add the tomatoes, and water. Bring to a boil and add the spaghetti. Reduce heat to medium for 15 minutes or until the spaghetti is tender
