Family loves it, a great soup to put in the crock pot and let it simmer all day. I have also added deer steak in the soup instead of ground beef.

Ingredients For mexican taco soup

  • 1 lb
    hamburger meat, browned
  • 2 can
    diced tomatoes or rotel, if wanted hotter
  • 2 can
    corn, canned
  • 2 can
    pinto beans with jalapeno peppers
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 pkg
    ranch dressing mix

How To Make mexican taco soup

  • 1
    Brown, drain and rinse hamburger meat in colander. (I sometimes use vension, you will not have any grease.) Add remaining ingredients, including the liquid in canned foods. Simmer for an hour to hour and a half. Variations: This is can be spice or mild, according what you use as tomatoes. Add corn chips, cheese and sour cream to your soup when serving.
