    chopped fresh cilantro

    Hidden Valley Fiesta Ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 large
    chopped white onion
  • 2 can(s)
    ranch style pinto beans (15 oz)
  • 1 can(s)
    white hominy, drained and rinsed (15.5 oz)
  • 1 can(s)
    fiesta corn, drained (15.25 oz)
  • 1 can(s)
    Rotel (10 oz)
  • 1 can(s)
    diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 Tbsp
    cumin
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 c
    water
  • ·
    salt and pepper, to taste
  • ·
    sharp cheddar cheese (optional)
  • ·
    sour cream (optional)
  • ·
    diced green onion (optional)
  • ·
    tortilla chips (optional)

How to Make Famous Taco Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown ground meat with the onions. Drain.
  2. Add the rest of your ingredients and bring to a boil. Turn heat to a simmer uncovered for an hour.
  3. Serve with sour cream, tortilla chips, and sharp cheddar cheese, and dices green onion on top.
