Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    16 0z bag dry lentils
  • 1 bag(s)
    16 oz frozen bag cut leaf spinach
  • 4 clove
    fresh garlic chopped small
  • 1/2 c
    olive oil
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Lentisl and Spinach

Step-by-Step

  1. Wash lentils, then put in a large pot with water covering (about 8 cups) boil for about20 min
  2. Saute garlic in olive oil till tender( do not burn)
  3. Add spinach and garlic and oil to lentils. add salt and pepper . simmer for about 25min or until lentils are tender (serve or freeze )
  4. Optional >>>>>> I serve with croutons and grated Romano cheese
