Ingredients For lentisl and spinach

  • 1 pkg
    16 0z bag dry lentils
  • 1 bag
    16 oz frozen bag cut leaf spinach
  • 4 clove
    fresh garlic chopped small
  • 1/2 c
    olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make lentisl and spinach

  • 1
    Wash lentils, then put in a large pot with water covering (about 8 cups) boil for about20 min
  • 2
    Saute garlic in olive oil till tender( do not burn)
  • 3
    Add spinach and garlic and oil to lentils. add salt and pepper . simmer for about 25min or until lentils are tender (serve or freeze )

    Optional >>>>>> I serve with croutons and grated Romano cheese
