This is about as close as you will get for this famous recipe from T.G.I. Fridays This is an easy dip that comes together in no time at all. It can even be made a few hours ahead (minus the toppings) and refrigerated before your party guests arrive.

2 slicelean bacon

16 ozcan refried beans plain

1 1/2 csour cream

1/2 tsptaco seasoning mix

3/4 cshredded cheddar cheese

3/4 cguacamole (frozen or prepared is fine)

1/3 cdiced tomatoes (about 1 romano tomato)

1 Tbspfresh cilantro chopped finely

2 Tbspsliced black olives
-
2 Tbspfinely sliced green onions

1/4 cpickled jalapeños (optional)
How To Make t.g.i. friday's 9 layer dip

1Fry diced bacon until crisp, add refried beans and cook slowly. Stir frequently until the bacon and bacon drippings are mixed through about 15 minutes, remove from heat.

2Mix taco seasoning with sour cream and set aside.

3Place ingredients in this order: Place refried beans on serving platter or bowl, spread out to 1 - 1 1/2 inches thick. diced tomatoes, guacamole, prepared sour cream, shredded cheese, diced cilantro, black olives, pickled jalapeños, sliced green onion. cheese for garnish
