I got this recipe from a Facebook friend. I've made this recipe with Spice Cake mix; the cookies are still quite good. Experiment! This is VERY sticky; but if you are very careful with the Tablespoon measure you should get about four dozen cookies.

Ingredients For lemon crinkle cookies

  • 1 box
    any flavor cake mix
  • 8 oz
    whipped topping, thawed- store brand is fine
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar

How To Make lemon crinkle cookies

    Note: The prep time is actually the mixing of the ingredients; It takes quite awhile to get all of the cookies measured rolled and baked. I'd plan on two hours from start to finish.

    Mix the first three ingredients together.

    I line my cookie sheets with parchment paper. If you have better luck with another method, use it.

    Drop a tablespoon at a time of the mix onto powdered sugar on a plate, roll around and plop on prepared cookie sheet. These expand to about two inches wide. Adjust the cookie dollops accordingly.
