to me this this should b easy. back in the 1800's and even just after the turn of the century peanut butter did not exist. and besides the ground wasn't such as to grow peanuts anyway if u could find the the stuff 2 start ur little peanut farm

  • ·
    5-6 good size bags of peanuts in shell. shell them
  • ·
    place on cookie sheet for about 10-12 mins roasted peanuts is what we want.
  • ·
    then after they r cooled off run threw grinder several time. or in food proccessor until u have a smush consistancy,
  • ·
    it will be thick and dry, add a little at a time peanut oil or wesson corn oil . just enough til it will be spreadable.

    now heres ur chance to get creative. by adding powdered choc. and a dash or 2 of coffee.
  • ·
    may add about a tabsp. sugar, or if u like use splenda if ur diabetic.

How to Make grace's home made peanut butter


  1. after adding all ingredients blend til smooth and spreadable.
  2. then u may add choc[powdered] and a few dashes of coffee. mix well blend well. then try it.
  3. variations: use hazel nuts or any other type of nut to have a variety. after all its the spice of life lol
