These are so addictive! I'm not a sports fan. But, now that football season is upon us these would be great for a tailgating party. You can also make these with oyster crackers and they would be fantastic too. Enjoy!

This is a simple way to put a little zing into a plain old pretzel. The ranch adds tons of flavor. Dill is the secret ingredient that adds a savory-something you just can't put your finger on. These are a cinch to throw together and a great snack for tailgating. They'd also be great in small bags for teacher gifts or holiday flavors... something a little different from all the holiday sweets.

Ingredients For ciao bella ranch sourdough pretzels

  • 1 1/2 lb
    broken sour dough pretzel pieces or 2 packages of oyster crackers
  • 1 c
    canola oil
  • 1
    packet Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix
  • 1 tsp
    dry dill
  • 1 tsp
    lemon pepper
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder

How To Make ciao bella ranch sourdough pretzels

    Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  • Pretzels in a resealable plastic bag.

    Place pretzel pieces in a large resealable bag; set aside.
  • Oil, dressing mix, and spices in a bowl.

    In a small mixing bowl, combine oil, dressing mix, dill, lemon pepper, and garlic powder. Whisk together.
  • Pouring oil mixture over pretzels.

    Pour over pretzels.
  • Massaging oil into pretzels.

    Seal bag and gently massage mixture to thoroughly coat pretzels.
  • Pretzels on a sheet pan.

    Place on 2 cookie sheets in one even layer.
  • Baking pretzels in the oven.

    Bake for 40 minutes stirring halfway through.
  • Pretzels in a resealable bag.

    Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
