I asked a gardener at the local farmer's market how she cooked Bok Choy. She said this was her favorite way. I did a little adjustment to it to make it mine. I make this several times in the summertime. This recipe is about three years old.I hope you enjoy.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients For zelda's stir- fried bok choy

  • 1 lg
    bok choy, 2 pounds
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • 1 clove
    garlic, crushed with side of chef's knife
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce

How To Make zelda's stir- fried bok choy

    Cut bok choy stalks from leaves, cut stalks and leaves, Separately, into 1/2 inch thick slices. In 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.Add garlic and cook until golden. Add bok choy stalks and onion, Cook, stirring frequently, until just tender, about 4 minutes. Add bok choy leaves and stir fry until wilted, about 2 minutes longer. Stir in soy sauce and remove from heat.
