Smokey Curry Cauliflower
It is very low in calories and it comprises of several health-benefiting antioxidants and vitamins in addition to be very low in fat and contains no cholesterol. Cauliflower is a blank canvas which you can be creative in giving it lots of flavor; you can grill,roast, bake, broil, or steam this veggie. Cauliflower is number one on my healthy eating list.
1 mediumhead cauliflower, washed and cut into florets
3 Tbspextra-virgin olive oil
2 tspcurry powder
1/2 tspgarlic powder
1/2 tspsmoked paprika
·salt to tasted
2 Tbspfresh chopped parsley
How to Make Smokey Curry Cauliflower
- Preheat oven to 400°
- In a small skillet over medium-low heat add olive oil, curry powder, garlic powder, cumin and smoke paprika.
- Stirring constantly, for about 15 – 20 seconds or until fragrant, be sure not to let burn. Then remove from heat.
- In an 8” x 8” glass baking dish combine cauliflower and fragrant oil until all florets are coated well. Then season to taste with salt and place in oven to bake for about 15 – 20 minutes or until nice and tender. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
