Ingredients For pepper slaw

  • 1 lg
    cabbage, shredded
  • 1 lg
    green pepper, chopped
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • 1 jar
    2 oz. chopped pimentoes
  • 2/3 c
    canola oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    celery seeds
  • 1 tsp
    mustard seed
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    boling water
  • 1 c
    vinegar
  • 1 c
    sugar

How To Make pepper slaw

    Shred cabbage place in large bowl, Sprinkle with salt and pour boiling over. Let stand 1 hour then drain. Put back into bowl.

    Add the chopped green pepper, the chopped onion, pimentos, drained, celery seed and mustard seed. Pour oil over and stir to coat all. Place in large jar.

    Boil vinegar and sugar till sugar dissolved. Pour over cabbage mixture. Cool. Place lid on and refrigerate over night.
