I think I may have gotten this recipe off the back of a bag of vegetables many years ago. I tried it and have kept it in my recipe collection ever since. It's so easy to put together and so flavorful. I hope you enjoy it.

Ingredients

  • 1
    16 oz. bag frozen broccoli, carrots and cauliflower combination, thawed and drained
  • 1 can(s)
    condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c
    shredded swiss cheese
  • 1/3 c
    sour cream (regular or low fat)
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 can(s)
    durkee dried french fried onions

How to Make My Favorite Thanksgiving Side Dish - Swiss Vegetable Medley

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine vegetables, soup, ½ cup cheese, the sour cream, pepper and ½ can of dried french fried onions.

    Pour into a 1 qt. casserole dish.

    Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

    Top with remaining cheese and onions; bake, uncovered about 5 minutes longer.

    (This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled if having a very large gathering)
