Ingredients For mandarin glazed beets

  • 1/4 cup
    sugar
  • 2 tsp.
    cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup
    lemon juice, fresh or concentrate but fresh is better
  • 2 Tbl.
    butter
  • 2 (15 oz.)
    cans sliced beets, drained
  • 1 (11 oz.)
    can mandarin oranges, drained

How To Make mandarin glazed beets

    In a large saucepan, combine the sugar and cornstarch. Add lemon juice and butter. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in beats; heat through. Gently stir in oranges; heat through.
