This recipe is diabetic safe. It is a tasty dish. Actually we just had this today for supper. I don't know where I got the recipe from. It was just written on a piece of paper among my other recipes. Hope you enjoy it as much as my wife and I do.

Ingredients For diabetic german red cabbage

  • 4 c
    shredded red cabbage
  • 2 c
    unpared apples (unpeeled)
  • 1/4 c
    splenda brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 c
    white vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • caraway seed (optional)

How To Make diabetic german red cabbage

    Add all the ingredients to a large fry pan. Cover and cook for 15-25 minutes until the cabbage is tender and soft. Serve and enjoy.
