Ingredients For janet's favorite spinach

2 pkgfrozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained reserving liquid

4 Tbspbutter

2 Tbspflour
-
2 Tbspchopped onion

1/2 creserved spinach liquid

1/2 cevaporated milk
-
1/2 tspblack pepper
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
3/4 tspcelery powder
-
3/4 tspgarlic powder
-
1 tspworcestershire sauce
-
crushed red pepper. to taste

6 ozgrated jalapeno jack cheese

seasoned bread crumbs
How To Make janet's favorite spinach

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a small baking dish or casserole dish.

2Melt the butter over low heat. Add onions and cook until softened. Add flour and stir until smooth and bubbly.

3Add the spinach liquid and evaporated milk and cook until thick stirring constantly. Add pepper, salt, celery powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, crushed red pepper, and cheese. Stir until melted.

4Add spinach and blend very well. Pour into a greased baking dish or casserole and top with breadcrumbs. Bake for 30 minutes. May be frozen.
