Garlic Rubbed Roasted Cabbage Steaks

If you love cabbage, you are going to freak out about how good this is. Now, if you are on the fence about cabbage, you need to try this because this might be the recipe that converts you to a cabbage lover.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

These cabbage steaks can be a little tricky when flipping, but they are so good even if they fall apart a little bit. The garlic and olive oil roast and permeate throughout the cabbage. It's so flavorful. Smashing the garlic really brings out the freshness and flavor. This is a great side dish for anyone but especially someone living a low carb or Keto lifestyle.

Tip: We found smaller heads of cabbage worked best, as well as pulling off the outermost dark leaves before slicing the steaks. We also cut the slices a little thicker than 1". It was easier to flip them that way. Once you lay them on the pan the outer edges start to undo but they cook crisp and are super yummy. Test Kitchen Avatar The Test Kitchen
