KJ's Fried Rice

1 pkgrice of choice-works good with either one
1 Tbspsalt, pepper
1 tspbasil, parsley, dill
1/2 tspcrushed red pepper spice
1 Tbspminced garlic
How to Make KJ's Fried Rice
- Spray cast iron skillet with "PAM", and add the rice to medium high heat. Add all the ingredients except the olive oil. Stir the rice, mixing the ingredients throughout.
- Now add the olive oil, and mix. Allow the rice to brown, not blacken, so stir it up regularly. It should take about 15 minutes to brown the rice.
- Add enough water to the rice to completely cover about 1 inch above rice. Turn the heat down to medium low. Will want it to barely bubble. Turn down more if cooking to fast. Place lid on the rice and check now and then to see if rice is turning soft. DO NOT STIR!!
- I use this recipe for various meat recipes like chicken, beef. This is really great with chili verde
