6 - 8potatoes. 6 large or 8 medium
1/2 cmelted butter
1 pkgcream of chicken soup sachet (maggi brand)
1 small pkgsour cream ( 1 cup)
1 cgrated cheese (can use less)
How to Make Betty's chicken flavoured mashed potato pie
- Pre-heat oven to 180oC/375oF and well grease a 10 cup capacity oven proof dish (a medium casserole dish is what I use).
- Peel and chop potatoes into even sizes - smallish cooks faster. Mash and add everything else except the cheese. Top with cheese and bake for 30 minutes and bubbly golden on top. Cool for 5 minutes and serve.
