1/2 ccooked chicken, pork or ham finely diced
4 ozmushrooms, chopped
1 qtcooked white rice, cold
1 smallonion, chopped
2 Tbspsoy sauce
1/4 cfrozen peas, thawed (optional)
·soy sauce, to taste
How to Make Fried Rice
- Heat oil in large frying pan or wok. Stir fry the meat until browned. Add the mushrooms and cold rice, stir together.
- Add the onions and 2 tablespoons soy sauce, stir. Fry over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a small fry pan scramble the egg with a little water.
- Add the egg and thawed peas (optional) to the rice mixture. If color isn't dark enough add more soy sauce. Cook a few minutes longer.
