1Melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat in saucepan that has a lid. Add the rice and saute in butter for 2-4 minutes or until the rice becomes a light brown color. While rice is cooking heat broth in microwave or in a seperate pot on stove top until broth begins to bubble.
2When rice is brown, add hot broth and salt to rice, Cover pan with lid and reduce heat to low,simmering rice for 20 minutes.
3As rice cooks, in a small fry pan, melt the remaining butter, add in almonds, celery and onions...saute for about 3-4 minutes.
4After the rice has cooked for 20 minutes,remove from heat... add sauted veggies and nuts, stir in parsley and let sit covered for about 5 min or until all liquid is absorbed!
